Shirley Pranger
Shirley Pranger, MSN, RN, brings more than 20 years of progressive nursing and hospital leadership experience across a variety of programs and health systems. She most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer at Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, a Tenet Healthcare facility in San Antonio, Texas, where she provided executive oversight for all nursing services and led strategic initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality outcomes, and operational performance.
Throughout her career, Shirley has held progressive leadership roles including Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Administrative Director of ICU and Emergency Services, Director of Acute Care for the Elderly, Director of Medical/Surgical Services, and Hospital Supervisor. She also led the opening of her organization’s first COVID 19 unit, establishing critical infection prevention and safety protocols.
Shirley holds a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University.
