She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the Bay Area Medical Center and Heart Hospital at Corpus Christi, TX. She then finished her Gastroenterology (GI) Fellowship at Carolina's Healthcare System in Blue Ridge/Morganton, North Carolina.

I liked that Dr Dam respected my desire to keep natural if possible. She walked in the door and said something to the effect of the body being able to heal itself. I knew I was seeing the right doctor for me. I have worked in the medical field for years and know that it really is best not to take medication unless it is absolutely necessary. She recommended a natural treatment, IB Guard, which has been very effective! I waited to complete the survey until I received my order and had a chance to try it. I don't know what my condition, or diagnosis is, but I am very pleased with the treatment.

If "care provider" is Dr. Dam, she was gone when I woke up from the procedure. I was the last patient that day. The RN (I forget his name, I was out of it a little from the anesthesia) told my husband I had polyps and mild diverticulitis. So I was out of the loop but the info was given to my husband. The nurses were nice and gave me warm blankets, were gentle with the IV.

Dr Dam had to discuss my results- which was cancer. I could not have asked for a more thorough, compassionate doctor. she had already had her MA begin authorization for PET scan and doctor. I feel blessed to have her as my doctor

The initial phone process scheduling my appointment was fair. Had to leave a message for scheduling, and that resulted in some phone tag. Second call to reschedule a pricedure I had to leave a meassage. Call was reurned a few hours later. That worked fine for this day, but for a normal workday I am not avaialble for return calls during 9:00 -6:00 pm.
