About Gina Quaid
Gina Quaid, MD, FACS, joined the Surgery Department at FCPP May 3, 2010. Following surgical residency training at UC Davis East Bay and UCSF East Bay, Dr. Quaid worked with surgical practices in the Carolinas before moving back to California to be near family. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Women's Surgical Association, the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, and the AMA. A general surgeon, her emphasis is on breast and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Quaid enjoys a variety of indoor and outdoor sports activities, from golf to cycling, climbing, and yoga, and is an avid basketball, football, and soccer fan.

She treated me like she honestly care. She also spead up my case after seeing my mammogram even before my biopsy result because she was concerned by what she saw. Before she had met me. She was sensitive to not only me but my Partner as well when she gave me my diagnosis. She balance well between too much info all at once and not enough. Which honestly is incredibly important after hearing you have stage 3 breast cancer. She was honest and reassuring. Im just not use to doctors that like their job and are incredible at it. She even gave me a hug before leaving which showed her compassion even more.

I LOVE Dr. Quaid!! I never feel rushed or talked down to. She explains everything well and makes me feel comfortable. I like having a breast doctor! Never had one before but I am grateful I do now! My Surgeon sat by me on chairs after my exam and took me step by step of the procedures she expected to do. She also told me what could happen if my surgery didn't go as planned. I left with the pamphlet that she explained my procedure. Afterwards, she explained that my Insurance needed to give the Okay, if yes, my surgery will be scheduled.

I really wish you had an Excellent option here. Dr. Quaid has always been an advocate for me and always knew what the next step was in my care. I have completed my care unless I have another emergency but I will always come to her and recommend her to anyone who has the same issues I have had.

Dr. Quaid listens to her patients. She is kind and caring and very knowledgeable. She listed to an issue I was having that wasn't related to her area and got me an appointment with the Urology department for the next day. I think she is wonderful.

Never had a doctor show such concern on how worried I was. She took her time with me and was so so nice made sure I understood what was wrong and assured me she would take good care of me!
