Visitation Rights

Family and friends play an important role in the recovery process of your loved ones. Before you come to visit, please take the time to review our Visitation Rights for patients.

All patients at Central Valley Doctors Health System have the right to receive visitors. Patients also have the right to withdraw or deny such consent at any time. Visitors will not be restricted, limited or otherwise denied visitation privileges on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation or disability. In addition, our hospital visitation rights support the patient’s right to have a support person visit if there is not a valid clinical restriction or limitation.

Certain areas of Central Valley Doctors Health System may have visitor limitations based on clinical or safety considerations.

Visitation Policy

  • Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Children/minors age 12 or older may visit a patient if they are accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  • ALL visitors must follow the check-in procedure and wear a visitor badge at all times.

Considerations:

  • Visitation may be delayed, altered or refused based on the care needs of individual patients as deemed appropriate through agreement between the patient’s nurse and physician.
  • Contagious illness may impose limitations on visitation. Please ask to discuss with your charge nurse.
  • Visitor access to areas where newborn infants and pediatric patients are admitted may vary to support infant/child bonding.
